Rob Mitchell is a partner at Crowdfund Capital Advisors (CCA) and has been involved with crowd finance since its inception. He helped brainstorm the crowdfund investing framework used in the JOBS Act to legalize equity and debt crowdfunding in the United States and joined the team of friends who authored that framework and lobbied it through congress and to the President’s desk. President Obama signed the JOBS Act into law in 2012. Rob directs CCA’s online crowdfunding education business in addition to his business development role. He delivered a keynote address at the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga Latvia as part of the Innovation Riga Conference representing CCA as a Key Partner of the US State Department’s Global Entrepreneurship Program. Prior to joining CCA, Rob had successful careers in professional services, technology, and real estate. He earned his MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and BA degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
